Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the AlchemOS Positive platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
2. Description of service
AlchemOS Positive provides software tools for measuring, tracking and reporting greenhouse gas emissions, procuring carbon offsets and generating ESG compliance documentation. We offer Free, Starter, Professional and Enterprise subscription tiers.
3. Accounts and security
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must not share your credentials or allow unauthorised access.
- You must notify us immediately of any suspected breach at security@alchemos.io.
4. Permitted use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or extract source code.
- Introduce malware, disrupt service availability, or bypass access controls.
- Misrepresent emissions data or use the Service to generate fraudulent certificates.
5. Subscription and payment
Free tier accounts are provided at no cost subject to usage limits. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for non-payment after a grace period.
6. Data
You retain ownership of all emission data and content you input to the Service. You grant us a limited licence to process this data to provide the Service. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy.
7. Accuracy of reports
Emissions calculations are based on published emission factors (GHG Protocol, IPCC, DEFRA). You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter. Our calculations are tools to assist reporting, not certified accounting opinions.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AlchemOS Positive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
