Requesting Certificates
AlchemOS Positive issues digital sustainability certificates that organisations can use in marketing collateral, annual reports and stakeholder communications. Each certificate references verified emission data and retired offset credits with immutable serial numbers.
Certificate types
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| GHG Inventory Certificate | Confirms your total verified Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions for a period |
| Carbon Neutral Certificate | Issued when net emissions = 0 (reductions + retirements cover 100% of footprint) |
| Net-Zero Aligned Certificate | Confirms alignment with SBTi near-term or net-zero standard |
| Offset Retirement Certificate | Per-retirement record; references registry serial numbers |
| Custom Certificate | Named award for a specific achievement (e.g. "Scope 2 Zero for 2024") |

Eligibility checks
Before you can submit, the system validates:
- All emission entries for the period are in Approved state
- If claiming Carbon Neutral: sufficient credits have been retired to cover the net footprint
- If claiming SBTi alignment: an active SBTi-type target is configured with the period in range
Any failed checks are listed as blocking issues you must resolve before submitting.
Certificate numbering
Certificates are issued with a permanent, cryptographically verifiable ID in the format:
CERT-{YEAR}-{ORG_CODE}-{SEQUENCE}
Example: CERT-2024-ACME-0012
This ID is embedded in the QR code on the certificate and links to a public verification page.
Downloading your certificate
